Singapore Airlines Expands London Gatwick Service
Singapore Airlines has increased its London Gatwick operations to double daily for the summer travel season, strengthening capacity between the UK and Singapore while offering travellers greater flexibility and improved connections across the Asia-Pacific region.
The expanded schedule runs through 29 August 2026 before temporarily reducing frequency between 1 September and 24 October 2026. During that period, flight SQ313 will operate three times weekly on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, with the double daily schedule returning from 25 October 2026.
Combined with the airline’s four daily services from Heathrow Airport and five weekly flights from Manchester Airport, Singapore Airlines will operate up to 45 direct flights per week between the United Kingdom and Singapore this summer—more than any other airline serving the market.
More Flights, More Connections Across Asia-Pacific
The additional Gatwick frequencies provide easier access to Singapore Airlines’ hub at Singapore Changi Airport, allowing passengers to connect conveniently to destinations including:
- Bali
- Thailand
- New Zealand
- Seven destinations across Australia
Mohamed Rafi Mar, General Manager UK & Ireland for Singapore Airlines, said the expanded schedule reflects growing customer demand.
“We’re excited to launch our double daily service from London Gatwick this summer, offering customers more choice of flights to Singapore and seamless connections from our hub at Changi Airport. On board, customers can enjoy our world-class hospitality and award-winning service, with the addition this summer of our Snap playing cards for little ones.”
The Gatwick route first launched in June 2024 with five weekly flights before increasing to daily service just nine months later following strong demand.
Exclusive Snap Playing Cards for Young Travellers
To mark the launch of the double daily schedule, Singapore Airlines has partnered with British artist and illustrator Lydia Leith to create a limited-edition deck of Snap playing cards designed especially for younger passengers.
Featuring colourful illustrations of animals from destinations across the airline’s global network, the cards can be used for both the classic two-player Snap game and a single-player memory matching game.
The complimentary card decks will be available exclusively on London Gatwick departures from mid-July 2026, while stocks last.
Premium Experience Across Every Cabin
Flights SQ309 and SQ313 are operated using the Airbus A350-900 long-haul aircraft, featuring:
