A Landmark Connectivity Deal in Southeast Asia Travel

Traveloka and Marriott International have entered a multi-year distribution agreement designed to strengthen hotel visibility, booking efficiency, and real-time inventory access across Indonesia and Southeast Asia.

Under the agreement, Traveloka is designated as a Certified Online Travel Partner of Marriott International, enabling direct connectivity between Marriott’s global hotel portfolio and Traveloka’s all-in-one travel platform.

The partnership enhances how travelers in the region discover, compare, and book stays across Marriott’s extensive portfolio of approximately 10,000 properties worldwide.

Expanding Access to Marriott’s Global Portfolio

Through this integration, travelers in Indonesia and Southeast Asia will gain improved access to real-time pricing and broader inventory availability across Marriott brands, including:

  • Luxury: JW Marriott, W Hotels
  • Premium: Westin, Sheraton
  • Select: Moxy, Aloft

The agreement strengthens Marriott’s distribution reach in one of the world’s fastest-growing travel markets, while improving booking speed and product visibility across Traveloka’s platform.

Southeast Asia’s Rapid Travel Growth Drives Demand

The partnership arrives as Southeast Asia continues to expand as a global tourism powerhouse.

Regional travel demand is projected to grow from USD 35.5 billion in 2025 to USD 67.4 billion by 2031, accounting for an estimated 15.4% of global travel demand.

This growth reinforces the importance of direct digital connectivity between global hotel groups and regional travel platforms like Traveloka.

Strong Booking Momentum for Marriott in Indonesia

Recent platform data shows increasing demand for Marriott properties across Traveloka, with strong search and booking activity in Indonesia.

Notable performance includes rising demand for:

  • Four Points by Sheraton in Makassar, Surabaya, Medan, and Bandung
  • Sheraton Hotels & Resorts
  • Marriott Hotels & Resorts

This trend reflects growing regional appetite for Marriott’s diversified portfolio across both business and leisure travel segments.
